Do we use a narrow or wide (European) definition of social innovation in the Netherlands? Involves innovation in the context of the work organization or new solutions and concepts for complex and social challenges? This question has been commitment of many discussions. Now there seems to be moving at the front with an opinion on social innovation in the making, it seems as though the Advisory Council for Science and Technology Policy (AWT) is proposed to also follow the European interpretation of the concept in the Netherlands. TSIF was a member of the AWT expert meeting.
